CakePops

What can you do with a boring finished cake with marzipan flavour?

CakePops!

Cut away the chocolate coating of the cake and crumble the cake into a bowl.
Melt 50g bittersweet chocolate in a hot water bath and stir with 100 g of butter until foamy.
Mix it with 100g icing sugar and then with the cake crumbs. If the resulting dough is too soft, add some icing sugar.

Shape about 30-35 balls with a diameter of about 3 cm and place them on baking sheet in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Again melt some bittersweet chocolate in a hot water bath und dip wooden sticks (I get that from a cafe, which is really stirs the coffee to go) about 1 cm in it.
Then put wooden sticks into the dough balls and place for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

For the icing I used white and dark chocolate. Melt it in a hot water bath and dip the CakePops in it. Let it dry briefly and then decorate as desired.

Auch toll für eine Kinderparty!
Also great for a kids party!

And they taste like pralines, not like cake!
