Tacker
What you need:
Canvas
strong foil (0,4mm thick plastic sheet)
paper
fairy lights
cutter knife
gluestick
stapler
Pierce holes for the bulbs of the fairy lights into the canvas.
Cut the foil about 5 cm wider than the canvas.
Staple the foil to 2 sides of the canvas.
(Cover staples with ribbon.)
Put the bulbs of the fairy lights from behind into the holes of the canvas and fix it.
Gewünschtes Motiv aus Papier ausschneiden. (Papier ca. 2 cm größer als die Leinwand.)
Cut out the desired motive from paper. (Paper about 2 cm larger than the canvas.)
In my motive I made the windows through pinholes.
Motiv auf ein weiteres Blatt Papier kleben.
Glue the motive onto another sheet of paper.
Put the paper between foil and canvas.
The lamp looks like this, when it is turned off:
Uns so sieht sie eingeschaltet aus:
And so it looks, when it is turned on:
Hier der direkte Unterschied:

Man kann die Motive auch austauschen:
The motives can also exchange:
(Aus 3 Lagen Papier gemacht.)
(Made from 3 layers of paper.)
Or try to use coloured paper to change the design...

Hello!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this fantastic project! I know just who deserves this for their birthday gift. I have one question that I do not understand- what is this foil? I have never seen that product and I think I misunderstand! If you wouldn't mind specifying it for me, I'd appreciate it greatly.
Thanks again so very much,
Hannah
