This is my newest recycling project!
What you need:
newpaper
clothes hanger
cutter knife
glue stick
school glue
pliers
strong wire
Dies ist mein neustes Recycling-Projekt!
Was man braucht:
Zeitung
Draht-Kleiderbügel (oder Draht)
Cuttermesser
Klebestift
Bastelkleber
Zange
stabiler Draht
Bend a heart of the hanger (with the pliers).
Cut the newspaper in stripes.
Roll the stripes with the help of the strong wire.
If you make sure that the top edge of the paper stripe is not printed, you get a white paper roll.
Glue the end of the paper roll with a glue stick and remove the wire.
You need about 25 of this paper rolls.
Man braucht etwa 25 dieser Papierstäbe.
Fold the thinner end of a paper roll around the wire heart and glue it onto the paper roll.
Fold the rest of the paper roll around the wire heart.
Glue the thinner end of a new paper roll into the first paper roll.
Repeat this steps with all of the paper rolls.
Push the end of the last paper roll into the heart and attach it.
Now it's done and ready for decorating!
I have chosen just a few ribbons...
Pinning this for future heart projects - love the idea of using recycled paper.

ReplyDeleteI love recycle crafts since it is both green and beautiful. Your newspaper heart is gorgeous and very useful. It is a fine gift to someone. If you make a smaller one you can use it in gift wrapping or to decorate a flower/bouquett. Great tutorial!
