I made 2 new lamps out of canvas.
One for kids and one for me.
It's so easy and you can change the designs whenever you want.
What you need:
canvas
strong film
paper
cardboard
fairy lights
cutter knife
gluestick
ribbon
stapler
Was man braucht:
Leinwand
feste Folie (Windradfolie)
Papier
Pappe
Lichterkette
Cuttermesser
Klebestift
Schleifenband
Tacker
Pierce holes for the bulbs of the fairy lights into the canvas.
Cut the film about 4 cm wider than the canvas.
Staple the film to two sides of the canvas.
Put the bulbs of the fairy lights from behind into the holes of the canvas and fix it.
Fix the cardboard on the backside of the canvas.
Cover the sides (with the staples) with ribbon.
Cut out the desired motive from paper and glue it mirrored on a 2. sheet of paper (Paper about 1 cm larger than the canvas).
Put the paper between film and canvas.
Das Papier zwischen Folie und Leinwand schieben.
Ready!
Now you can hang it on a wall or put it on a table, shelf or where ever you want.
Fertig!
