All the plastic packaging of the toys (or something else)... throw them all away?
No! Let's make beautiful summer bracelets!
What you need:
plastic packaging
scissors
embossing folder
nail polish
press stud
Die ganzen Kunststoffverpackungen vom Spielzeug (oder anderen Sachen)... alle wegwerfen?
Nein! Machen wir schöne Sommer-Armbänder draus!
Was man braucht:
Kunststoffverpackung
Schere
Embossing Folder
Nagellack
Druckknopf
Cut off a stripe of the plastic packaging.
Einen Streifen der Verpackung abschneiden.
Emboss this stripe.
Den Streifen prägen.
Paint the stripe with nail polish and let it dry.
Den Streifen mit Nagellack anmalen und trocknen lassen.
Now round with the scissors the corners of the stripe.
Nun die Ecken des Streifens mit der Schere abrunden.
Attach the press stud.
Den Druckknopf anbringen.
And it's done!

Wow, very clever. Love the idea. Pinning to share. Thanks so much for sharing with us this week at Snickerdoodle Sunday!
ReplyDeleteReally like the idea of recycling all that plastic toy packaging. My only question is how did you do the embossing? Did you use a special tool to get the impression that deep? My kids have birthdays coming up and I want to give this a try. Very creative
ReplyDeleteI've done the embossing with an embossing machine.
DeleteIf you don't want to emboss, you can also place the clear stripe on a paper with a design and them paint the design with nail polish onto the stripe.
Stylish! I hate throwing away plastic packaging - definitely have to try this one!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful project and great way to reuse some of the plastic we all have too much of. Featuring your project when my link party opens tonight.
