You need a belt, if the pants slips.
But especially for kids it´s not easy to open and close a belt.
Here is the solution! No belt buckles anymore!
Simply, quickly made, practical and comfortable!
(Of course, not just for kids!)
Was man dafür braucht:
Velours-Elastic-Bund oder Elastic-Bund
ein Stück Stoff
Druckknöpfe
Die Länge des Velours-Elastik-Bunds am besten an einer passenden Hose abmessen.
What you need:
velours-elastic or thick elastic
a piece of fabric
snaps
The length of the velours-elastic is measured at a matching pant.
Cut the fabric into a strip in the same length and about 3x as wide as the velours-elastic.
Sew the fabric in the width of the velours-elastic and cut out into 2 pieces.
Now put the ends of the velours-elastic into the open ends of the fabric stripes and sew with a zig-zag stitch.
Then install snaps on it (I used KamSnaps).
Und fertig! Ich hab gleich noch mehr gemacht...
And ready! I have made several...
Und so werden sie benutzt:
Einfach durch die Gürtelschlaufen ziehen und anknöpfen!
And so they are used:
Simply pull through belt loops and buttoning!
Now you don´t have to open a belt anymore, only the pants!
What a good idea! I really like that -- I hate buckles.
ReplyDeleteThis would be so good for kids!!! No more fiddling with belt buckles...
ReplyDeleteGreat solution!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

Very good idea. Thanks for sharing with the newbie party.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Sometimes I just want that bulky belt buckle sticked out These will be perfect for that.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Buckles can be so tricky for kids.
ReplyDeleteThat's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your instructions! I've been thinking about making some for my grandsons, I just hadn't sat down long enough to get the idea solid in my brain as to how to do it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the English translations on your blog too! That is so nice of you!
Very interesting idea. I'll have to give this a try. My middle boy has been potty trained for 6 months but will only wear elastic waist pants because the snap/belt combination makes him nervous. This may be the perfect solution!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I bought something similar for my grown up pants :)
ReplyDeleteWow. A great idea for kids clothes that don't have the adjustable waistband.
ReplyDeleteThat is a super smart idea! I've never seen anything like it before. Thanks for sharing at Etcetorize this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat an ingenious idea!! I am going to have to make some for my kiddos on the ones that don't have the adjustable waistband. So much easier than having to worry about them keeping track of a belt! Thanks for sharing! I'm a new follower! Have a wonderful week!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT idea!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing this at The DIY Dreamer.. From Dream To Reality!
This is one of those "Why didn't I think of that" ideas. Totally brilliant! I could have used this when my son was little. I'm pinning this and passing it along to anyone I know with little ones. Thanks so much for sharing at Creative Thursday :)
ReplyDeleteAnother great idea. Thank you for linking this up too at our party at http://www.FineCraftGuild.com/party/
