Mobile Phone Hip Bag

Here is my tutorial and template for my mobile phone hip bag / belt bag! 

And it has a hidden pocket on the back for a credit card or bank notes! 

I have also attached a key ring to hold my keys, but this is optional. 

This bag is made out of faux leather paper but you can also make it out of leather or faux leather. 

 Hier ist meine Anleitung und Vorlage für meine Handy-Hüfttasche / Gürteltasche! 

Und sie hat eine versteckte Tasche auf der Rückseite, für eine Kreditkarte oder Geldscheine! 

Ich habe auch einen Karabinerhaken für meine Schlüssel angebracht, aber das ist optional. 

Diese Tasche ist aus Kunstlederpapier genäht, kann aber auch aus Leder oder Kunstleder gemacht werden. 

What you need: 

faux leather paper 

 a piece of HTV (heat transfer vinyl) for the design 

 scissors 

nylon webbing 

pencil 

press stud 

 plastic slider & buckle clip 

optional: key ring 

 Was man braucht: 

Kunstlederpapier 

ein Stück Flex-Bügelfolie 

Schere 

Gurtband 

Bleistift 

Druckknopf 

Plastikschnalle & -schieber 

Optional: Karabinerhaken 

And here is the template. 

The red square shows the position and dimensions of my mobile phone. 

Please adapt the template to the dimensions of your mobile phone! 

Und hier ist die Vorlage. 

Das rote Quadrat zeigt die Position und Maße meines Handys. 

Bitte die Vorlage an die Maße des eigenen Handys anpassen! 

 Transfer the black lines of the template (with appropriate dimensions) onto the faux leather paper and cut it out. 

And cut the phone design out of the HTV. 

Die schwarzen Linien der Vorlage (mit angepassten Maßen) auf das Kunstlederpapier übertragen und ausschneiden. 

Und das Telefonmotiv aus Flex-Bügelfolie ausschneiden.

Then wash the faux leathe paper by hand and crumple it. Iron it while it is moist. So it gets a leather-like stucture. 

Dann das Kunstlederpapier per Hand waschen und zerknautschen. Bügeln, während es noch feucht ist. So erhält es eine lederähnliche Struktur. 

Iron on the design. 

Das Motiv aufbügeln. 

 Put the long part onto the short part. Aligning it to the markings on the short part: 

Das lange Teil auf das kurze Teil legen. Dabei orientiert man sich an den Markierungen am kurzen Teil: 

Fold the bottom of the long part up to the short part, as shown on the next photos. 

Den unteren Teil des langen Teils hochfalten, wie es in den nächsten Fotos zu sehen ist. 

Sew along the edges. 

Entlang der Kanten nähen. 

Place the mobile phone inside the bag. 

Das Handy in die Tasche stecken. 

Fold the flap down and mark the place for the press stud. 

 Die Klappe nach unten falten und die Position für den Druckknopf markieren. 

Attach the press stud. 

Den Druckknopf anbringen.

 This is how it looks now: 

So sieht es nun aus: 

The back side: 

You can insert a credit card or bank notes and push the small flap into the slot. 

 Die Rückseite: 

Man kann eine Kreditkarte oder Geldscheine verstauen, und die schmale Klappe zum Schutz in den Schlitz stecken. 

 And now the webbing: 

pull the webbing through the slider and sew it with a zigzag stitch. 

Und nun zum Gurt: 

Gurt durch den Schieber stecken und mit Zickzackstich nähen.

Install one part of the plastic buckle clip: 

Einen Teil der Schnalle anbringen:

Push the webbing through the slider as shown in the next photo: 

Gurt durch den Schieber ziehen, wie auf dem nächsten Bild zu sehen ist:

 Install the second part of the buckle and the key ring. 

Then sew it with a zigzag stitch: 

Den zweiten Teil der Schnalle und den Karabinerhaken anbringen. Und mit einem Zickzackstich nähen:

Pull the webbing through the holes on the back of the bag and it's done! 

Den Gurt durch die Schlitze an der Rückseite der Tasche schieben und fertig!
